Connect through MCP, the shared interface for AI tools. OpenAI Codex and a local model through Ollama have been tested. Other compatible clients, such as Claude Code, can be configured through the general MCP connection; a separate complete Studio acceptance test is not claimed for them. A suitable client is required, not just a model name.

Keep your working data on your own computer.
Projects, drafts, imported media, history and saved analytics are stored on your Windows PC. With a locally hosted model, AI processing can also take place on your computer. Studio does not automatically sync this local collection with IT-Service Castel.
You choose where data goes. A cloud AI may send tasks and tool results to its provider. Signing in, publishing and fetching platform metrics need an internet connection and share the necessary data with the services involved.

Castel Social Studio is planned with a perpetual licence for the purchased major version and no mandatory Studio subscription. Activation uses a licence file, without a required account or recurring online licence checks. Price and purchase terms will be published before sales begin.

- Real uploading, schedule management and public publication have been tested. The individual job status remains visible in Studio.
- A real Reel publication with a visible cover image is confirmed. Current scheduled execution runs locally through Studio.
- Connection and platform queries are available. The latest real upload is still being resolved; a successful publication is not claimed for it.
- TikTok
- A private test connection is available. Production approval and the outcome of an older job remain open; public full automation is not yet approved.
- The integration is prepared and the required provider review is in progress. Generally available direct publishing is not yet confirmed.
FAQ
Questions before you get started.
Can I run Castel Social Studio on my own?
Yes. Manage projects, media, posts and the calendar directly in the interface. You do not need a team or an AI. AI assistance is an optional addition.
Do I need a subscription?
Studio is planned as a one-time purchase without a mandatory subscription. Sales have not started yet. Optional cloud AI, platform services or hosting may have their own recurring charges.
Can I use OpenAI, Claude Code or my own AI?
Studio provides a local MCP connection for compatible AI clients. OpenAI Codex and a local model through Ollama have been tested. Claude Code and other suitable clients can be configured through this interface, with the appropriate setup and permissions.
Can I process my data entirely locally?
Your local Studio data and AI processing can stay on your computer when you use a local model and a suitably configured client. Publishing, platform sign-in and online analytics exchange the necessary data with the relevant services.
Does my computer need to stay on for scheduled posts?
For locally executed schedules, your PC and Studio must be running and the required connections available. Background operation is optional. A schedule already confirmed by a platform is different; Studio shows the execution type for each job.
Can I buy or download the application now?
Windows preview 0.50 is currently being used and tested internally. General download, sales and the public Codex directory listing are not yet approved. Use the contact option to let us know you are interested.
